- Apple Transaction IDs: Information related to your in-app purchases and subscriptions
- Subscription Status: Whether you have an active, trial, or expired subscription
- Billing Period: Subscription start and end dates

- Streak Information: Your current streak, longest streak, and streak history
- Relapse Logs: Information you choose to log about relapses, including triggers, mood, and notes
- Achievements: Milestones and achievements you've unlocked
- Motivational "Why": Personal motivation you provide during onboarding (optional)

- Blocked Domains: Websites and domains you choose to block
- Blocked Apps: Applications you choose to block on your device
- Block Screen Content: Images and messages you upload for motivational block screens
- Template Preferences: Your preferred blocking template (Starter, Strict, or Nuclear)
2.6 AI Conversation Data
- Chat Messages: Messages you send to and receive from our AI companion
- Conversation History: Your chat history stored securely on our servers
- AI Insights: AI-generated insights about your progress and patterns
- Context Metadata: Information about your streak and progress used to provide personalized AI support

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

- Service Delivery: To provide blocking services, progress tracking, and AI companion features

- Password Security: Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use Railway for cloud hosting and PostgreSQL for database storage. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data. We do not currently use third-party analytics services that track individual users.
- AI Service Provider: We use Anthropic Claude API for AI companion features. Your messages are sent to Anthropic for processing. According to Anthropic's privacy policy, API data is not used to train their models. We do not share your conversations with any other third parties.
- Apple: Subscription and payment information is processed through Apple's App Store, subject to Apple's privacy policy.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction.

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: You can access and review your personal information through the app settings
- Correction: You can update your account information at any time
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings or by contacting us

- AI Conversation Deletion: You can request deletion of your AI conversation history by contacting us, or it will be automatically deleted when you delete your account
- Opt-Out: You can opt out of non-essential communications

7. Children's Privacy
Reclaim is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirement for their country or region (typically 16-17 years old, as indicated by the App Store age rating). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable age limit. If you believe we have collected information from someone under the age limit, please contact us immediately, and we will delete that information.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Specifically:
- Active Accounts: Data is retained while your account is active
- Deleted Accounts: When you delete your account, all your data (including conversations, streaks, and blocking data) is permanently deleted immediately due to database cascade rules. Some data may remain in backups for up to 30 days before being permanently purged, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes (e.g., subscription records for accounting)
- Subscription Data: Subscription records may be retained for accounting and legal compliance purposes
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using Reclaim, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
